Jahreszeiten der Liebe
i have officially been clubbed.

went to club in bangsar last night with a classmate and her friends. the highlight of the evening was having some pretty funny conversations and making new friends, plus free drinks ;) (t'was ladies nite and we were in fortuitious company hahha.)

anyways, all i can say that is i dun think clubbing's for me, i might go once in a while, but not often. i prefer more of a place where one can just talk without challenging the bass beat, and prolly get a nice cuppa while we talked. it'll go easier on my lungs as well. and my liver.

it's amazing how some people can still dance with their lighted ciggarettes between their fingers waving them about and being a fire hazard in a room where a square foot on the floor would be considered a wide open space. not to mention the copius amounts of easily flammable liquor in close proximity.

and also, alcohol's fine and in my book, but relying on it to feel good is something i've never really experienced. a little alcohol to get some buzz goin might be okay for some, but it's a thin line between loosening the toungue and also loosening the esophagus to a play by play review of what one ate in the recent past. drinker discretion advised. i had the good fortune to not witness this, tho i now curse my vivid imagination.

i enjoyed the evening solely on being able to spend time with some great people, it wouldn't have really mattered (to me,that is) where we actually went.

suika pan to tamago oiiishi desuka?
what have i learned?

does one always follow the rules and live straight? people tell me it doesn't matter in the long run. but then again, should we always live in the present and give no heed to the future?
i used to be constant worrier. but now, i seem to be gravitating more towards taking things on the fly. but, this has let to the other onslaught of worry bugs that i may be missing things by not planning ahead. so in essence, i still worry anyway.

shit, this thing is a bloody mobius ring ain't it?

There is no future,
There is no past,
I live this moment as my last,
There's only us,
There's only this,
Forget regret,
Or life is yours to miss,
No other road,
No other way,
No day but today.

wow. what a week.

the worst thing that happened to me ~ my printer decided to go on holiday without giving it's 2 weeks notice.

the best thing? hmmmm....

anyways, back to the next day in the rest of my life.

also, i bring to you, another sotong experience!

sotong experience

It was during our advertising presentation, my group and i finished our presentation proper, and it was Q & A time ~

all seemed to be going smoothly till we were questioned like this:
lecturer: so, where do you plan to publish your press ads?
me: well, we aim to get our ads into health and women's mags like heatlh today and er...*frantic improvisation*... cleo.
lecturer: oh, i see. how big was your press ad?
me: A4 size.
lecturer: and how big is the measurement of the magazine you plan to publish in?
me:*feels like a deer in the headlights of a train(prolly with the same expression as well)*.....er...um...ah...slightly bigger than A4..?

*cue laugh track provided by studio audience*

the end.

what? you're leaving?

The "Universal Truths" List
"Universal Truths" is the overly grandiose title for a collection of humorous and profound aphorisms submitted by their creators, mostly geeks, to this list. An aphorism is defined by the Collins English Dictionary as
"a short pithy saying expressing a general truth; maxim."

laliho~~~
gosh i am probably one of the few people who has petula clark and gackt on the same mp3 playlist. shuffle mode in winamp is a continental genre whiplash.

lately i've been getting confused and tangled in relationships. it justy goes to show taking things for granted is the sure way to let these things get "un-granted" from you.

there's several breakups, an attempted join-up, a break and regret, a misunderstanding, an understanding, an festering boil which decided to finally burst, a calming wind, and there's me... feeling confused and floundering., wondering if anything i am doing is helping or worsening these scenarios.

but what am i gonna do?

i'm gonna bloody do the BEST i can !

and if it's not enuff i wont regret cos i gave it my best shot. live and learn baby.

shiat it's almost 5 am.

constipated creativity
isn't life a funny thing.

it's so funny a lot of stuff in it feels like siomeone else gets the joke. the other problem is that you have this sneaking suspicion you're the punchline.

everything seems to be going down the drain and i'm still irritably sick. i feel so bloody uninspired. and in my line of study, that invariably means trouble.

gosh, why is college so totally running my life?!! and change just one letter and you could say it's ruining my life...

it's the feeling of having so many things to do, that i just don't wanna do anything.

coupled with all this is the fact i feel so lonely sometimes. hmmm, thinking about it... this seems to be the worst one... i really feel get pangs of loneliness followed by more pangs of depression and suicidal tendencies and the ability to write about it and joke it off (i doubt it ever really goes "off" ). i can't bloody self analyze cos it's like trying to look at the back of your head without a mirror. you tend to rely more on your imagination than whats actually there. almost everything becomes a hyperbole and accuracy is achieved out of pure luck...

ugh, weird analogies. i seem to like them eh?

*cough*cough* >HACK< *sniff*
bells and whistles are going thru my brain and flowing into my nasal cavity.

it, (my nose) seems to be goin thru evry single symptom except healthy.

save the trees, but gimme the tissues. ;)

*shakes fist and weather that can't decide whether to be hot or humid or storming or hazy*

i seem to be experiencing the type of illness that's bad enuf to be irritating (having to carry tissue with you everywhere to avoid flooding the room) but not bad enuf to justify an M.C. or a day off from college.

waking up when the sun rises
which i don't seem to be doing lately.

it's been the bane to my parents that i don't seem to sleep when the sun is shining on the other side of the planet. but why not?

i enjoy the quiet. hardly any distractions. the phone doesn't ring. and you'll deter robbers.

but then again, you trade off a little of your sanity when the moment you are most awake is at 4 am.

i sorta regret turning myself into a nocturnal creature, but i really love the fact i feel very liberated from the chaos that usually surrounds my life when i am plodding around at the wee hours.

but regretfully, the rest of my life does not facilitate such counter waking hours.

to put it plainly. "time and my college timetable waits for no man."

misguided optimism
well, what an interesting day at sungei wang yesterday. got a few badges, and what a whole lot of tatoo parlours! also got a taste of what people are using to decorate themselves.

i just realised the public trans is not so bad in m'sia. provided you always have tons of loose change, know exactly where all the stops and stations are, and have friends to pass the time with in between stops.

to go to sungei wang i had to take 2 buses. to get back, i took 2 trains.

oh, the new KL mrt is pretty interesting. (read: nobody seems to wanna line up, and we all were stuffed into the thing tighter than britney spears new outfit.)

well, today i'm off to watch spidey two. not THAT excited bout it. 1st one didn't really get me dancing in the aisles. ;)
